Greenhaus European Day Spa
By Kimberly

ATMOSPHERE/AURA - The walls are bathed in pastel mint green, which while soothing to the eye also remind me of Starbucks newest creation on the block – the green tea latte. One is not meant to spend much time in the miniature sized waiting area. If you have an opportunity to check in and actually sit down, do not get comfortable. Your masseuse, manicurist or other staff member will meet and greet you for your appointment in seconds. Treatment rooms are decorated very simply which gives the impression that Greenhaus is very focused on the treatment itself and none of the excess frills sometimes associated with spas.
STAFF - Staff is friendly and amiable and you are greeted with
smiles from the moment you enter the spa. Most of the customers
streaming in and out are regulars as evidenced by the familiar
conversations that abound between customers and staff members.
SERVICES - Full range of spa services include body treatments,
nail treatments (manicure and pedicure), waxing, tanning and
facials. The 30 minute massage is perfect for someone with a
busy work week and weekend schedule. Don’t worry if you’re a
last minute person, sometimes Greenhaus can fit you into their
typically booked solid schedule the day before!
Masseuses begin sessions with a series of questions to gauge
what part of your body need special hands-on attention. Although
you may choose to pick a specific focus for massage treatment,
some massage therapists will balance the entire body first with
a series of hand pats and grips starting from feet to head.
PRICE – Services at Greenhaus are not intended to break your
pocketbook. For this reason, you will see women aged from 18
years of age and up at the spa. A 30 minute massage is only $40
and the more popular 60 minute hot stone massage is only $95.
TIPS & SUGGESTIONS
(1) If you are sensitive to noise, request headphones as the
spa is located on a busy street in Napa and sounds of cars, music,
and chatter may disturb your serene interlude.
(2) Ask for and remember the name of your masseuse. If your
experience is one of greatness, you’ll want to remember the masseuse’s
name to request her again if you schedule an appointment in the
future.
