Take a Time Out, at a Napa Valley Spa
By Kimberly
Wilson
Need to relax from a long day or even longer work week? Sure,
a glass of wine and food to die for might do the trick, but that
is only a two to three hour fix and will surely add pounds to
that figure of yours. Why not indulge in something more self-indulgent?
Make reservations at one of a dozen fabulous Napa Valley spas
for a quick, easy, and highly satisfying dose of pampering.
If you’re anything like me, your body will soak up the attention. So what are
you waiting for!? Rejuvenate those muscles, get the blood circulation
up, revitalize tired skin, and relish in the happy afterglow
that accompanies a trip to the spa.
Here are a couple of suggestions to help you fill your Napa Valley spa needs:
Greenhaus European Day Spa:
Step inside a small green community where friendly, attentive staff whisks
you off to your appointment within minutes of entering the
spa. Greenhaus offers a host of spa services. Massage therapists
knead, roll, rub and grip areas of your body and transport you
to a realm of pure bliss. Greenhaus’ thirty minute massage is
the perfect anecdote for a moment of relaxation during a busy
errand day, or a small respite in between wine tasting and dining
for out-of-towners. Click here

come in small packages. Amanda’s Massage is very focused on offering
superior body treatments through highly experienced and
skilled massage therapists. Your relaxed and rejuvenated body
at the end of any session is testimony to this fact. Click

The rooms are great, the surroundings are great, and pretty much everything
is great. BUT, the spa is out of this world! Make reservations weeks
in advance, it’s no secret that this spa is one of the best. Click

General Spa Trip Tips:
(1) At most spas it is customary to leave gratuity in the amount
of 18% or more.
(2) One-pressure-fits-all does not exist. Be sure to tell your
massage therapist if you like soft, medium or hard pressure if
she does not ask you. Also, massage pressure is relative. What
is medium pressure to one massage therapist may feel like hard
pressure on your body so speak up!
(3) There are several other
spas in Napa Valley Wine Country so don’t be afraid to explore… For
