ATMOSPHERE/AURA – Enter the spa at Villagio Inn and instantly feel worlds away. The front room is airy and spacious and the water fountain will remind you you’re only moments away from experiencing the restorative powers from the fountain of youth yourself. Candles light your path at every corner. Classical and Asian influenced music softly play in the background.

The women’s changing room resembles that of a boudoir and consists of two mirrored sitting areas. Find a plethora of practical essentials – toothbrush, shaver, soap, cotton balls, combs, deodorant, styling gel, etc – at one. Delight the senses and skin – perfume, body milk, body scrub, lotion, etc - at the other. There is also a shower area, locker area, bathroom and even sofa to lounge upon.

If you are fortunate enough to be by yourself in the changing room, you might imagine that all of this grandeur and luxury is for you alone!

STAFF – Staff members are bright, cheery, and youthful which is indicative of how you will feel after a day spent at Villagio Inn & Spa. Whether you dragged yourself in or are too stressed to even remember how you got there to begin with, one’s spirit can only lift up from the conscientious attentions of staff that greet you, smile, and inquire after your well being throughout your stay.

SERVICES – Villagio Inn & Spa offers a complete spa experience. Whether you want a body treatment (massage, wrap, or scrub), a facial, waxing, or nail treatment (manicure or pedicure), Villagio Spa will live up to and exceed your expectations of quality, and professionalism. Guests are also invited to relax in the co-ed dry sauna and steam rooms, outdoor hot pools, or in the 40-ft. lap pool. With so many services to choose from, one might feel hard-pressed to select just one! If you are at a loss, why not try the following two treatments:

Green Coffee Wrap : There are several little steps involved in the Green Coffee Wrap, but the end result is so absolutely wonderful that you may never get a regular massage again! Apparently, coffee can do more than give you a caffeine rush. Green coffee beans are said to help break up cellulite molecules, redistribute fats and increase circulation. The process for the Green Coffee Wrap treatment includes application of a green coffee concentrate that is then combined with massage to produce miracle slimming effects. Then one is wrapped like a mummy and left to drift off to la-la land. Do not be surprised if your massage therapist is gently shaking you because you’ve fallen asleep – believe me – it happens!

Villagio Origins Pedicure : The absolute best pedicure in the world! Your feet will agree with me after their first whirl in the spa’s copper basin tubs. The Villagio Spa’s pedicure begins like most – select nail color, soak your feet in warm water and then….and then all similarities end. Place your feet in the hands of a miracle worker who will scrub, clip, trim, buff, finish, and massage your feet to perfection. As soft as baby feet and smooth like caramel, don’t be surprised if you’re called in for a commercial shoot. Another outstanding feature of the pedicurists at Villagio Inn & Spa is that they give you practical and invaluable suggestions for any “unsightly feet” concerns in maintaining healthy and red-carpet worthy feet at all times.

PRICE – My Mom thought the prices were quite reasonable. I, on the other hand gave a small gasp. Yet, even with my small budget I would save up to go to Villagio Inn & Spa at every opportunity because the rejuvenation felt after a trip to this spa are long lasting and brought a huge smile to my face.

TIPS & SUGGESTIONS

(1) The website says to call three weeks in advance for spa reservations. They are serious. Villagio Inn & Spa is a popular resort destination for travelers from all over and the spa itself is open to their lodging guests and to the outside public.

2) Buy at least one of the body lotions offered in the in the Spa Boutique. They are luscious and feel divine on the skin.
