NAPA—Culinary, wine, art and music superstars converge on the
valley July 16-23 for the first Festival del Sole, a gathering
which will bring together the best performers, artists, cooks
and vintners in the world. The event is inspired by a long-running
Italian festival, the Tuscan Sun Festival, which draws art and
food fans from around the world each year.
Slated to appear in Napa: chef Cat Cora, the Emerson string
quartet, chef Ming Tsai, as well as dinners and receptions at
some of the most exclusive wineries in Napa, including Quintessa,
Gargiulo, Darioush, Far Niente and Palmaz Vineyards.
Many of Napa's favorite institutions join in the festivities,
including music at the Lincoln Theater, the Napa Valley Opera
House, The Culinary Institute of America at Greystone, COPIA
and the Napa Valley Museum. |
