Dante Vineyards Guest Cottage is 5 miles from Calistoga, a beautiful 7-minute drive along the Petrified Forest Road.  DIRECTIONS FROM CALISTOGA:
From the intersection of Hwy 29 and Hwy 128 (old sign says "Calistoga ->") proceed one mile NW to Petrified Forest Road. Turn left at the stop sign "More for Less Market" and follow the winding grade 2 miles to the top of the hill. You will then pass Hans Fahden winery and Petrified Forest . Look for a black fence & gate on the left hand side. You will see the sign for Dante Vineyards, make a left and enter thru the gate. Follow the signs to the guest cottage. It is the first building on the left. DIRECTIONS FROM SANTA ROSA & HWY 101 NORTH: Follow Hwy 101 North to the River Road/Guernville exit just north of the Luther Burbank Center in Santa Rosa. Turn right on Mark West Springs Road. Follow approximately 9 miles to blinking stop light. Turn right on Calistoga Road and proceed 1 mile to Dante Vineyards entrance on the left hand side. Look for a black fence & gate. Follow signs to guest cottage. First structure on the left. About 65-75 minutes from Golden Gate Bridge/San Francisco.  DIRECTIONS FROM EAST BAY OR I-80:
Take the Napa exit: if you're Eastbound, this is hwy 37; if you're westbound, this is hwy 12. Follow signs to hwy 29 north. Once in the Napa Valley, you can take Hwy 29 all the way to Calistoga. Or you can take the Silverado Trail for a parallel route (road less taken on the east side of the valley); get back to Hwy 29 via Deerpark Rd. or the main street thru Calistoga.
