The chateau at Domaine Carneros is considered one of the most beautiful wineries in North America. Designed after the Chateau de la Marquetterie in Epernay, France, a property of Domaine Carneros principal founder, Champagne Taittinger, the Domaine Carneros Chateau is a landmark of the region.

Visitors approach the winery via a grand staircase, passing chardonnay and pinot noir vineyards and planters bursting with seasonal flowers. The grand staircase delivers guests to the main entrance of our Visitor Center where we offer tableside service for them to enjoy Domaine Carneros wines either in our elegant Louis XV style salon, or on our stunning terrace overlooking the hills and vineyards of Carneros. Cheese plates paired with our sparkling wine or pinot noir are available in our main Visitor Center. For special occasions, enjoy caviar at your table.

Domaine Carneros wines are sold as a tasting flight, by-the-glass or by-the-bottle. In the winter months, a crackling fire awaits, and in the spring, summer and fall, our sunny terrace beckons guests to pause and soak up the splendor of the wine country.

Guided tours are conducted daily at 11:00am, 1:00pm and 3:00pm. Our tour focuses on the history, production of sparkling wines and pinot noir, and the exceptional qualities of the Carneros Appellation. We also offer private group tour packages.
