The tasting room staff at Grgich Hills invites you to enjoy one of the most personable wineries of the Napa Valley for a friendly wine tasting experience, a lighthearted, educational tour, or to purchase a few bottles (or cases!) to ship home.

Join us daily in our tasting room at the winery from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. for a tasting of our hand-crafted wines. Tasting is complimentary with the purchase of a $5 logo glass. We are open every day of the year except for New Year's Day, Easter, Thanksgiving, and Christmas Day.

Winery tours are offered by appointment only during the weekdays at 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m., and weekends and holidays at 11:00 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Tours conclude in our beautiful new Hospitality Center, and are $10 per person. Join us every Friday for a special barrel tasting from 2 to 4 p.m. for a sneak preview right from the barrel of our delicious 2003 Cabernet Sauvignon and our 2004 Chardonnay. The barrel tasting is complimentary with your regular tasting.

DIRECTIONS

Grgich Hills Estate is located at 1829 St. Helena Highway (Highway 29) in the heart of Napa Valley just north of Rutherford.

Driving from the city of Napa, take Highway 29 north for about 15 miles. The winery is located in Rutherford at 1829 St. Helena Hwy, about 1/2 mile north of the Rutherford Grill, on the left side of the road. Look for a large white stucco building with a red tile roof.

Driving from Calistoga, we are approximately 12 miles south, a mile past the railroad crossing at Whitehall Lane, on the right side of the road. Look for a large white stucco building with a red tile roof.
