Located on the grounds of a historic equestrian center, Black Stallion Winery has been renovated with reclaimed materials and luxurious furnishings to evoke the rugged sophistication of early California. With our large circular tasting bar, expansive terrace and private tasting rooms, we've created an inviting space where you can relax and enjoy exquisite wines and warm hospitality year-round. Black Stallion Winery offers several group tour and tasting options that deliver the quintessential Napa Valley experience. If you wish, we will happily work with you to create a custom wine tasting experience uniquely for your group. Private tours and tastings can be scheduled for groups of 8 or more. Your group will be greeted by a wine educator and taken on a private 20 minute tour of the estate followed by a private tasting. Reserve Tasting
A tasting of three Black Stallion wines including our current release Cabernet Sauvignon, a library Cabernet Sauvignon, and our flagship Bucephalus Red Blend. A wine educator will host your group in a specially designated area or private room of your choice. Reserve and Barrel Tasting
A private reserve wine tasting in our Grand Barrel Room paired with artisan cheeses specially selected by renowned Cheesemonger John Raymond. Following the tasting, your guests will be invited into our barrel cellar to taste future vintages straight from the barrel. Winemaker Barrel Tasting
After a private tour of the estate, your guests will be escorted to our Grand Barrel Room for a tasting of four current release Black Stallion Wines and two reserve wines served with a cheese pairing. Following your tasting, you will be joined by Winemaker, Elaine St. Clair, for a private tour of our cellar and tasting straight from the barrel. Private Events
