Taste our small lot Cabernet's, all complex with intense full flavors, from 3 unique single vineyard locations. Tours and barrel tastings with our winemaker offered!

Rollie and Sally Heitz established Midsummer Cellars in 2000. From that time until now they have concentrated on making fine vineyard designated Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignons. We currently have four distinct Cabernets available from our own CaƱon Creek Vineyard as well as the Clark-Claudon Vineyard, Haystack Peak Vineyard and Tomasson Vineyard Cabernets. All of our Cabernets are made from 100% Napa Valley Cabernet grapes.

We also produce a dry Grenache Rose which is fermented dry and has wonderful fruit on the nose as well as the palate, a great go to wine. Most recently, we also began producing a White Rhone Blend that we call GMRV, a wonderful alternative to Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc.

We invite you to visit us at Midsummer Cellars and enjoy our wines at the winery while enjoying beautiful views across the Napa Valley. A barrel sample of one of our Cabernets will most likely be offered as well. Come visit the quieter side of the Valley.

The winery is located just north of St. Helena at 264 North Fork Crystal Springs Road. As we are a very small winery we do require appointments, advanced notice is preferred but we can sometimes accommodate same day reservations. All tours are private and conducted by Rollie who is the owner/winemaker.

We look forward to your visit. Rollie's contact info: cell phone 707.225.4367, email:

Please make sure you schedule your visit with us, as we are BY ADVANCED APPOINTMENT ONLY.
