Small Block Series

Our experiences growing vines on our mountain estate, with its high elevation, steep slopes and rocky soils, taught us that many different varietals, including Malbec, Syrah and Viognier, can excel here. These limited production wines are available exclusively at our Mount Veeder winery.

Hess Single Vineyard Napa Valley

Single vineyard estates were carefully chosen for the uniqueness and quality of the soils, climate conditions and topography. The Su’skol Vineyard is located within site of the San Francisco Bay where morning fog and afternoon breezes create an ideal climate for Chardonnay. The Allomi Vineyard is located in one of the more remote areas of Napa Valley, where warmer days provide optimal ripening conditions for Cabernet Sauvignon and Sauvignon Blanc.
