Located on the grounds of a historic equestrian center, Black Stallion Winery is the latest addition to the distinguished collection of wineries in the Oak Knoll District of Napa Valley. We opened our doors in July 2007 with a commitment to crafting ultra-premium wines that reflect the exceptional character of the Oak Knoll District. Each of the varietals we produce is handcrafted and carefully blended from small vineyard lots allowing us to create wines of elegance and complexity.

Black Stallion wines are not sold in stores. Every bottle of wine we produce is sold exclusively at the winery or through our website. This allows us to have a personal relationship with each of our customers. It also ensures that each bottle always travels directly from our cellar to your door.

The Black Stallion Winery name was inspired by the rich history of the property, which once housed a sprawling equestrian center. The Black Stallion Winery estate still houses a 22,000 square foot building that was the indoor riding track of the historic equestrian center operated on the property in the 1960's.

The grounds are surrounded by estate vineyards newly planted with three clones of cabernet sauvignon which will support our Estate Cabernet Sauvignon. The winery was designed to capture the rustic sophistication of early California and the property's equestrian heritage. The hospitality center includes a mahogany-trimmed tasting room with soaring ceilings, massive beams of reclaimed wood and a cracking fireplace highlighting the circular tasting bar, where guests can relax without feeling rushed.
