The Art of the Blend
Some of the world's finest wines are composed of varietal blends. Learn the magic that our winemakers use to create Magnificat, our proprietary blend that each year is the highest expression of our vineyards and the vintage. In this hands-on seminar you'll play winemaker, creating your own blend with five classic Bordeaux varietals. The only question is what will you call your wine? (Daily by appointment - $30 per person)

Sensory Evaluation
Did you know that taste is nearly entirely controlled by your sense of smell? In this in-depth sensory seminar you'll taste a variety of Franciscan wines and evaluate the aromas of each one, such as citrus, fruits and spices. Your host will guide you through the experience of tasting wines like a professional and identifying each wine's signature aromas. (12:30pm Thursday through Sunday, by appointment - $30 per person)

Vineyard Tour
Explore the essence of the Rutherford Bench when you walk our front vineyard. Your host will provide a historical perspective on Franciscan, explain Napa Valley's appellation system, and showcase several wine-growing techniques used in our vineyards. This comprehensive tour will offer an opportunity to learn more about our winery and what gives our wines their unique characteristics. (By appointment only- $10 per person - minimum of ten people. No wine included with Vineyard Tour)

A special tasting of Sauvignon Blanc and Syrah two new releases only available at the winery. Also included are Cuvee Sauvage, Napa Valley's first wild-yeast fermented Chardonnay and our red Meritage blend Magnificat, the Winemaker's highest expression of our Napa Valley vineyards. $15 per person (Logo glass included).
